Artwork and source credits
The home and guide illustrations are artist’s impressions created for The Hastings Directory. They are not photographs or documentary records of particular events, businesses or residents.
Hastings Castle and local fishing-quarter references came from Visit 1066 Country. Alexandra Park references came from Hastings Borough Council. Reference photographs remain with their original publishers; the illustrations are newly generated interpretations.
The fishing beach, community gathering, shopping street, business conversation and festive theatre evening are representative scenes. They do not identify particular residents, listed businesses, actual events or a named venue interior. Business images come from the respective businesses’ own websites. Category photographs retain the reference directory’s approved assets.
